Job summary

Mondelez International’s Clif Bar Plant in Indianapolis seeks an experienced Automation & Controls Engineer to support multiple production lines. You will mentor technicians, drive reliability improvements, and ensure safety and quality standards across the facility.

Responsibilities include maintaining control documentation, PLC/HMI programming, and calibration management while collaborating with engineering, maintenance and quality teams. On-site role with relocations support available.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in automation and controls in a production facility.
• Experience in manufacturing or food production is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior technicians and promote knowledge sharing.
• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability and standardize controls.
• Maintain safety, food safety, and quality protocols.
• Modify and optimize instrumentation and control systems, including PLCs and HMIs.
