Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a technical field or 2-5 years related work experience in building automation systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Ability to read construction blueprints and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead design engineer for control systems drawings, sequences of operations and submittals for lower to mid-level control systems.
• Read/interprets construction drawings and project specs to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Collaborate with project team to identify options for customer value engineering and energy efficiency.
• Modify existing designs to reflect field changes and prepare As-Builts.
• Generate Operation & Maintenance manuals at project closeout.
• Communicate progress and issues to project leadership and submit weekly time reports.
