Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in systems development engineering, controls application development, or industrial automation.
• Hands-on experience with industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, EtherCAT, or Modbus TCP.
• Experience writing functional specifications or descriptions of operations for automated systems.
• Experience with networking fundamentals and load balancers, switches, routers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Own application deliverables for the assigned project from planning through handoff.
• Assemble and configure the site's controls application software from standard code libraries, adapting as needed.
• Lead emulation and digital twin testing, ensuring FAT/SAT readiness.
• Define functional requirements for third‑party interfaces and coordinate with vendors.
• Deliver complete handoff packages and train field teams.
• Mentor engineers and improve templates and tools.
• Validate end‑to‑end material flow from grid to outbound operations.
• Monitor system performance and drive continuous improvement.
