Job summary

EMC Renewables is seeking a highly motivated Controller to lead the company’s accounting and financial operations, reporting to executive leadership. You will manage corporate and project accounting, financial reporting, payroll, compliance, and internal controls for nationwide renewable projects, including utility-scale solar and energy storage initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• GAAP and financial reporting expertise.
• Experience in construction, EPC, renewable energy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting, payroll, AR/AP, fixed assets, GL, and cash management.
• Lead project accounting for utility-scale PV and BESS EPC projects.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and close processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and lenders.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reporting for decision-making.
