Job summary

SunEnergy1, a fast-paced utility-scale solar EPC and development company, seeks an experienced Corporate Controller to lead accounting operations and financial reporting. You will oversee GAAP reporting, multi-entity consolidation, and internal controls while partnering with Engineering, Construction, Development, and Executive leadership.

The role emphasizes strong technical accounting, project cost accounting, and collaboration with Project Controls to ensure accurate project financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 5+ years leading accounting teams.
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and GAAP reporting.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements for multiple entities.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and consistent reporting.
• Oversee audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Manage General Ledger, AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets, and cash.
• Develop scalable accounting processes and internal controls.
• Support project finance, cost forecasting, and margin analysis.
• Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams.
