Job summary

CandidTalent seeks a Lead Control Systems Engineer for Power and Energy in the East Bay area, Northern California. You will design SCADA architectures, write and commission ControlLogix and Studio 5000 logic, and lead projects from scope through startup.

The role is full-time with remote work while a local office is stood up, then in-office from late October. Expect cross‑sector work across utilities, power, water, and data center power, with strong Rockwell, SQL, and historian integration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in control systems and ownership of delivery
• Rockwell depth in production environments with designed SCADA architectures
• Experience with power, energy, water, or campus utilities and understanding of processes

Responsibilities

• Design SCADA architectures and write/commission ControlLogix and Studio 5000 logic
• Take projects from scope through startup and commissioning
• Perform historian work with SQL and scripting
• Engage with clients across utilities, power generation, water, and data centers and manage multiple projects
