Job summary

E Tech Group, a major engineering and system integration firm, seeks a Senior Controls Engineer in the Bay Area to lead hardware and software design for automation projects. You will define architecture, write software specs, program PLC/SCADA, configure historian databases, tune loops, and support startup and commissioning.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering with 4+ years' experience, and have strong communication skills, plus familiarity with ControlLogix/PLC platforms and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of controls engineering experience.
• Experience in food/beverage and winery controls is preferred.
• Knowledge of S88 batch standards and batch systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide application/control systems design for varying complexity.
• Develop and evaluate alternative system solutions meeting requirements.
• Modify program logic across multiple subsystems.
• Gain proficiency in PLC programming languages and networks.
• Interact with customers to define scope, plans and deliverables.
• Work in a team with strong focus on customer service and improvement.
• Represent the company values and support client success.
