Job summary

Linde plc is seeking a control systems professional to implement standard control system solutions on projects, independently or with limited guidance. The role involves collaborating with Process, Mechanical, Electrical, and Operations teams, reviewing P&IDs, and specifying hardware and software for control systems.

You will participate in in-house setup, testing, and field commissioning, and contribute to ongoing product portfolio updates and new control system developments for Linde’s VPSA

Qualifications

• Experience implementing standard control system solutions on projects.
• Ability to work with internal/external clients (Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Operations).
• Experience reviewing P&IDs and SWDs and providing input.
• Experience specifying and requisitioning control system hardware, software, panels, instrumentation, and engineered components.
• Experience in-house setup, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of control systems panels.
• Experience commissioning primary control systems in the field (simulation testing, startup, tuning, auto restart, supervisory control).
• Experience implementing software and hardware updates/conversions for standard product portfolio.
• Developing new product portfolio control system and programming solutions.
• Contributing to VPSA (oxygen) and N-plant (nitrogen) product line plants.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of control systems in field environments as part of project execution.
• Interaction with clients and internal teams to ensure project alignment and success.
