Job summary

Emerson is recruiting an Associate General Counsel, Contracts, to lead the Contract Services function across the Americas. You will provide strategic contract guidance, support complex commercial matters, and supervise a team of Contracts Counsels and Practitioners.

The role requires 8+ years in contracts, a law degree, strong negotiation and English language skills, and the ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a contracts-related role.
• Law Degree and licensed to practice law in the US or Emerson jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, drafts and negotiates agreements and documents.
• Oversees the Contract Services team for Americas World Area.
• Acts as Global Contracts Lead for Global Strategic Accounts.
• Mentors and trains Contracts Services personnel.
• Interfaces with customers and Emerson stakeholders to close deals.
