Job summary

Daimler Truck Financial Services in Charlotte, NC seeks a Sr. Application Architect to shape the Contract Funding application. You will lead the roadmap, drive modernization, and collaborate across IT, Finance, and Operations to deliver high-value solutions.

The role requires strong Java/Spring, API design, and DevOps experience, with a focus on scalable web services and microservices in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• 6+ years of development with Java 8+, J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, REST/SOAP, Tomcat.
• Experience with multiple languages/frameworks: Java, Spring, Hibernate, Angular/React.
• Strong Web Services/API design and system interfaces.
• UI skills with HTML5/CSS3 and JavaScript frameworks.
• DevOps know-how: GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, deployment pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product vision, roadmap, and execution for Contract Funding.
• Lead enhancements to simplify and modernize the funding process.
• Partner with business/tech teams to convert needs into clear requirements.
• Participate in hands-on development, including coding and deployment.
• Build/update components based on detailed requirements.
• Analyze, test, debug, and document code thoroughly.
• Define scope and objectives aligning user needs with business goals.
• Improve processes, resolve challenges, and manage timelines and deps.
• Serve as SME for Contract Funding, ensuring compliance and effective controls.
