Job summary

Daimler Truck Financial Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Solution Architect to design and drive the implementation of new IT solutions and to manage service operations and delivery of existing ones in alignment with IT and business strategy.

The role demands hands-on experience with data management, microservices, Java/J2EE, RESTful web services and Azure cloud, plus collaboration with IT security and governance to enable rapid, reliable DevOps enabled delivery.

Qualifications

BS/BA in Computer/Information Science or IT with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
Experience with RESTful Web Services and Java/J2EE technologies.
Hands-on experience building and deploying microservices architectures.
Experience with containers such as WebSphere, JBOSS, and Tomcat.
Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.

Responsibilities

Define and architect future technology landscape and roadmap with business partners.
Oversee and address customer issues/tickets; monitor system SLA’s and perform root cause analysis.
Collaborate with IT Security to follow data security guidelines.
Provide support for audits, IT governance, and DevOps adoption.
Keep up with emerging frameworks and evaluate best-fit solutions.
