Job summary

Blue Kangaroo PACKOUTZ is seeking an operations support specialist to assist with remediation packout, contents cleaning, deodorizing, and storage, using specialized equipment and cleaning chemicals under supervision.

You will learn our digital inventory system via company iPhone and lead a small team to ensure adherence to standards while delivering compassionate customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Texas-based role with training, advancement opportunities, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bilingual Speakers (English & Spanish) strongly preferred.
• Construction, restoration, or insurance industry experience preferred.
• IICRC certifications preferred.
• Must identify products, usage, and disposal requirements with training.
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per Blue Kangaroo Packoutz policy.
• Sense of urgency, professional demeanor, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comprehensive understanding of customer service principles.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining equipment used in daily tasks.
• Lead a team of technicians to ensure standards are followed.
• Perform dry and wet mitigation/pre-cleaning using BELFOR procedures.
• Manipulate contents at client sites to enable remediation work.
• Package contents to prevent damage during transport.
• Transport contents to cleaning facility for storage.
• Adhere to MSDS standards.
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for providing operational support in remediation efforts for client contents. Main functions will include performing tasks related to packout and packback services, contents cleaning, deodorizing, manipulation, and storage. This position will be required to use a variety of specialized equipment and cleaning chemicals under supervision. Additionally, the person in this role will be required to learn our digital inventory system that is administered through a company provided iPhone.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining equipment used in daily tasks
• Lead a team of technicians to ensure they are following IICRC Standards
• Perform Dry and Wet mitigation/pre‑cleaning using accepted BELFOR procedures
• Manipulate contents at the client site to allow for the remediation crew to perform required tasks
• Take exceptional care to package contents to prevent damage during transport
• Transport contents to cleaning facility for cleaning and storage
• Adhere to MSDS recognized standards
• Perform daily vehicle safety and maintenance inspections and maintain in clean serviceable condition
• Must have a caring spirit, commitment to exceptional customer service, principles, and practices

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs

Compensation

$20-25/hour depending on experience
