Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union seeks a Lead Consumer Loan Product and Strategy Specialist to oversee the Consumer Loan Product and Strategy department. You will partner with the VP to implement the credit union's consumer lending strategy, drive portfolio growth, and optimize lending processes across teams.

The role requires extensive consumer lending experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional projects while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree, CCUE Certification, or an Associate in Arts/Science via NC-CTP.
• Seven years of consumer lending experience.
• Strong integrity and objectivity; strategic thinking and problem-solving.
• Excellent English communication, with clear cross-level communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Consumer Loan Product and Strategy department.
• Analyze and manage consumer lending products and portfolio performance.
• Collaborate with the VP to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
• Lead lending technology and system initiatives, including evaluating and optimizing systems.
• Facilitate cross-department collaboration to align lending initiatives and communicate updates.
• Drive cross-functional projects and process improvements for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies while driving continuous improvement.
