Job summary

SECU is seeking a Lead Consumer Loan Product and Strategy Specialist to oversee the Consumer Loan Product and Strategy department, partnering with the VP to execute the credit union’s lending strategy. You will analyze portfolio performance, identify growth opportunities, and drive technology initiatives to enhance the member lending experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Seven years of consumer lending experience as a baseline requirement.
• Strong understanding of consumer lending practices and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with all levels of staff and leadership.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Consumer Loan Product and Strategy department (10%).
• Analyze and manage consumer lending products and portfolio performance (20%).
• Collaborate with VP to develop and execute strategic initiatives (15%).
• Drive lending technology initiatives, evaluate systems and optimize processes (25%).
• Foster collaboration across departments and communicate product updates (10%).
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve workflows and compliance (10%).
• Ensure adherence to regulations and internal policies while driving improvements (10%).
