Job summary

WSECU seeks a visionary leader to head Consumer Lending in Olympia, WA, overseeing home equity, vehicle lending, and credit cards. You will drive the strategy, standardize processes, and mentor managers to scale operations while aligning with WSECU’s purpose and risk framework.

You will partner with branches, contact center, and digital channels to meet production goals, optimize ROI on originations, and ensure compliance across state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• At least ten years in a financial institution leading all aspects of consumer lending.
• Five years in a management or executive role; experience with $2B+ assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop, oversee, and implement the annual Consumer Lending strategy and business plan.
• Oversee productivity and workflow efficiencies of back-office operations.
• Provide leadership to managers through coaching, evaluations, and training.
• Develop lending policies and underwriting guidelines to ensure portfolio quality.
• Collaborate with Finance on pricing methodology and product margins.
• Monitor service levels and member satisfaction; ensure regulatory compliance.
