Job summary

Fifth Third Bank, National Association in Frisco, Texas seeks a Consumer Repossession Manager to lead a cross-functional team of staff and contractors, oversee workflow, and ensure efficient, compliant repossession operations.

You will coach performance, prepare annual reviews, support risk partners and auditors, close process gaps, and drive staff development while maintaining high quality service and strict regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 year supervisory/lead experience required.
• Minimum 3 years collections, customer service, operations, or equivalent experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Office products, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Proven leadership skills, initiative, detail orientation, strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team and present professionally.
• Knowledge of loan collection policies, procedures, and activities.
• Ability to pivot based on business need.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional team of staff and contractors with oversight of daily workflows.
• Evaluate performance and provide coaching monthly.
• Plans, assigns, and monitors workflow to maintain efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Act as subject matter expert collaborating with risk partners and auditors.
• Oversee issues management to close process gaps and remediate accounts.
• Support third party vendors to manage workflow and meet SLAs/SOW.
• Champions change management of strategic initiatives.
• Review processes and risk exposure across the bank and with customers.
• Resolves escalated customer or service issues to maintain service quality.
• Identify staff training and development needs for exempt and nonexempt teammates.
• Prepare annual performance reviews and recommend salary increases and promotions.
