• Communication – must be able to effectively communicate with peers, management and/or represent Vistra’s interests to outside agencies.
• Postgraduate degree is desirable.
• BS or greater in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or meets additional years of experience requirements.
• Extensive experience with gas fired combined cycle power plant mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsabilidades

• Understand the design features of the facility and oversee the design changes and modifications.
• Perform complex root cause analyses.
• Assist in planning major outages.
• Manage revisions to plant technical documentation and drawings.
• Develop the annual budget for engineering and design support and modification activities.
• Lead roles on projects, teams, processes, or programs.
• Respond to plant conditions which may involve extended hours.
• Maintain safety and environmental compliance standards and practices.
