Qualifications

10 years of construction experience, or a combination of education and field experience.
Proficient in reading blueprints and architectural drawings.
Excellent organization, planning, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Ability to think critically, solve problems, and communicate solutions with actionable information.
Ability to perform the physical requirements of onsite inspections.
MS Word/Excel/Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Email and Internet research skills.
Architectural or engineering registration, contractor licenses, and/or inspection certification preferred.
Strong project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Building Inspection and Property Condition Assessment, including site investigations and thorough documentation.
Document analysis of construction documents and legal materials.
Cost estimating and cost analysis, including scope of work and cost comparisons.
Preparation of technical reports and clear, structured outputs.
Client meetings to gather information and communicate actions.
