Job summary

The LiRo Group is seeking a Construction Superintendent for our Saranac Lake, NY region to oversee complex, multi-contract projects for NYS OGS. This role requires coordinating with engineers, clients, and third-party testers to ensure quality and schedule adherence.

Ideal candidates bring a minimum of 6 years in large-scale construction, OSHA 30, and strong leadership to develop and manage work plans across teams in a secure facility environment.

Qualifications

• Six+ years in multi-phase large-scale construction projects.
• At least four (4) years as an assistant superintendent or inspector on large projects.
• Ability to develop and communicate a project work plan.
• Ability to review contract documents for cross-trade coordination.
• OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities across multiple contracts from the Saranac Lake office.
• Ensure work adheres to contract documents and approved management plans.
• Coordinate issue resolution with project teams to meet schedules.
• Coordinate third-party material testing consultants.
• Document progress with QC inspections and meetings; assist with coordination meetings.
• Maintain daily contact with client agency representatives.
• Comply with construction procedures manual.
