Job summary

The LiRo-Hill team seeks a Sr. Superintendent to lead construction activities on projects managed out of the Malone field office for NYS agencies.

The role focuses on coordinating multiple contracts, enforcing contract documents, and aligning with construction management plans to deliver safe, on-time results. Candidates should have at least eight years in multi-phase building rehabilitation, with a minimum five years as a superintendent on large multi-contract projects, and OSHA 30

Responsibilities

• Ensure work is performed in accordance with contract documents and approved construction management plans.
• Work with project teams to resolve onsite issues.
• Monitor work progress and ensure adherence to schedules/milestones; coordinate third-party testing.
• Document work progress including quality control inspections and meetings; assist with job coordination meetings.
• Coordinate with client agency contacts daily.
• Comply with duties outlined in the construction procedures manual.

Responsibilities

Services required on various projects managed out of the Malone field office. Active and future projects include working with the following clients - NYS DOCCS, NYS DOT, and NYS DEC.

Under the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge, monitor/coordinate the daily construction activities amongst multiple contracts.

• Ensure work is performed in accordance with the contract documents and approved construction management plans.


• Work with the project teams to resolve issues that arise onsite.


• Monitor work progress to ensure work is completed in accordance with approved project schedules/milestones. Coordinate 3rd party consultant services for onsite construction material testing.


• Document work progress, including all required quality control inspections and meetings. Assist the Engineer-In-Charge with job coordination meetings.


• Coordinate with client agency contacts on a daily basis.


• Comply with specific duties outlined in the construction procedures manual.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a secure facility a plus.


• Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large‑scale building/rehabilitation projects.


• A minimum of five (5) years' experience shall be as a Superintendent on large‑scale multi‑contract projects.

• Compensation: for this role ranges between: $41.00 hr and $53.00 /hr

Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidates’ qualifications and location
