Job summary

Spence Brothers is seeking a Construction Superintendent to service the Southeast Michigan market from the Ann Arbor office. The role oversees the entire operation of the construction site, communicates milestones to clients, and establishes completion timelines.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of commercial construction supervision, experience on >$5M projects, and proficiency with construction management tools. OSHA certification preferred and a strong safety mindset is required.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience supervising commercial construction.
• Experience on projects exceeding $5 million in value.
• Understanding of construction management processes.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, plans and specifications.
• OSHA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall construction job site from start to finish.
• Provide daily leadership to Spence Brothers and subs.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost, schedule and client satisfaction goals.
• Lead by example on safety and regulatory compliance; report unsafe conditions.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines.
