Job summary

BSNC is seeking a General Construction Superintendent for the El Paso, TX area to oversee onsite construction, ensure safety, manage schedules, and coordinate subcontractors to align with the approved baseline schedule.

The role requires OSHA 30, USACE QCM, a high school diploma with relevant trade certifications, and 15 years of multi-trade experience. Frequent moves across the U.S. are anticipated, with an emphasis on field performance and DOT safety considerations.

Qualifications

• Education requirements: High School and relevant trade or craft certifications.
• Experience: 15 years across a wide range of trades and projects.
• OSHA 30 mandatory.
• Valid USACE QCM Certificate.
• Frequent moves across the United States anticipated.

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite construction to meet safety, schedule, and financial objectives.
• Lead a daily standup before work starts.
• Develop a three-week look-ahead schedule with long-range planning and QC updates.
• Assist in preparing pay applications for the government.
• Maintain a clean and orderly field office and worksite.
• Enforce safe work practices with updated hazard analyses.
• Coordinate with Quality Control on inspections and workmanship.
• Maintain good relations with subcontractors and coordinate their requirements.
• Serve as on-site point of contact for subcontractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
