Job summary

Next 150 Construction Services is seeking a Construction Superintendent III to lead complex trade scopes on major projects. You will supervise self-performed crews and field activities, enforce safety, maintain plans, and coordinate with field and project leadership.

The role requires 2–8 years of superintendent experience, a construction management or engineering degree, and OSHA 30 hours. You will report onsite in New Florence, MO daily, with duties spanning planning, scheduling, quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• OSHA 30-hour certification
• Minimum 2-8 years of experience as a superintendent on construction projects
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates assigned trade contractors, self-performed crews, and field activities to ensure work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with scope, schedule, and quality requirements
• Develops, documents, and communicates detailed work plans for assigned scopes and ensures compliance with plans and directives
• Maintains understanding of contract documents, drawings, specifications, and coordination requirements
• Acts as primary safety representative for assigned scopes and enforces safety policies
• Oversees quality control, conducts inspections, and implements corrective actions
• Leads contractor meetings and coordinates activities with field and project leadership
• Maintains daily field reports, safety documentation, and production records using Procore
• Creates and manages trade-level schedules and contingency plans; communicates status
• Plans site logistics, including access, material flow, temporary facilities, and sequencing
• Resolves jurisdictional disputes and field-level conflicts
• Tracks production, labor hours, and productivity; reports variances
• Executes self-perform operations, including workforce planning and resource quantification
• Assists with forecasting and cost-of-work projections
• Coaches and mentors junior team members; supports skill development
• Supports a positive and inclusive work environment
• Supports sustainability and environmental compliance
• Collaborates with Lead Superintendent on advanced planning and continuous improvement
