Job summary

Pogue Construction is seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to lead on commercial construction sites. You will work closely with the Project Manager, coordinate trades, manage on-site safety, and drive project schedules to meet tight deadlines.

Ideal candidates have 2-5 years as an Assistant Superintendent, strong budgeting and planning skills, and excellent communication with subs and stakeholders. This role demands hands-on leadership on active sites and adherence to Pogue procedures.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years serving as an Assistant Superintendent on commercial construction sites.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and project schedules.
• Strong communication with subs, architects, and PMs.
• Demonstrated leadership in coordinating field operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ultimate construction responsibility on assigned projects.
• Work directly with Project Manager and field teams.
• Maintain schedules and update the project timeline.
• Document daily reports and material deliveries.
• Lead weekly subcontractor meetings and enforce safety standards.
