Pogue Construction Company in Texas seeks an Assistant Superintendent with 2–5 years on commercial construction sites to lead on-site activities, coordinate with the Project Manager, and uphold plans and specs.

You will prepare and update daily reports, track schedules, coordinate subs, maintain safety standards, and advance the project through pre-construction to completion in line with Pogue procedures. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Formación

• 2-5 years as Assistant Superintendent on commercial construction sites.

Responsabilidades

• Ultimate responsibility of construction
• Work directly with Project Manager
• Expert knowledge of plans and specs
• Advise on constructability
• Host preconstruction meetings with subs
• Maintain and update Project Schedule
• Prepare updated schedule for sub meetings
• Create short-term construction schedule
• Complete and maintain Daily Reports
• Document project and Sub-Contractor performance
• Monitor delivery of materials
• Host weekly Sub-Contractor meetings
• Maintain a clean site and trailer
• Enforce safety guidelines
• Oversee punch lists and SWPPP operations
• Train Assistant Superintendent or staff
• Liaise with District & Architect
• Other duties as assigned
