Job summary

AEC Alliance in Charlotte, NC seeks a Lead Construction Superintendent (Local GC) to lead field operations from mobilization through closeout on education, industrial, and commercial projects.

You must be current with a General Contractor as a Superintendent to be considered, with 6+ years of supervision and ground-up work in the $20M-$60M+ range. Procore experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a Lead Superintendent with a Commercial General Contractor experience.
• 6+ years of field supervision on Education, Commercial, and/or Industrial projects.
• Ground-up project experience from $20M-$60M+.

Responsibilities

• Own field operations and deliver projects on schedule, on budget, and safely.
• Build and drive the project schedule, and coordinate subcontractors and trade partners.
• Lead and mentor assistant superintendents and field staff.
• Take part in preconstruction, including constructability, logistics, scopes, and schedule.
• Manage field documentation, punchlist, and closeout with the Project Manager.
• Run a clean, organized, safe jobsite and lead regular safety meetings.
• Build relationships with owners and architects that lead to repeat work.

Lead Construction Superintendent (Local GC)

Charlotte, NC | OTE $130,000 - $160,000+ BOE

A well-established commercial general contractor in Charlotte is hiring a Lead Superintendent to run projects from mobilization through closeout. They work on construction management, negotiated, design-build, and select hard-bid projects, with steady work in several markets.

You must currently be a Superintendent with a General Contractor to be considered.

Project Experience We're Looking For

• K-12 / Education: new schools, additions, renovations, and occupied campuses
• Industrial: manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and warehouses
• Commercial Office: ground-up office buildings and corporate facilities

What You'll Do

• Own field operations and deliver projects on schedule, on budget, and safely

• A proactive, steady leader who handles conflict with respect
