Job summary

Habitat for Humanity International in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a New Construction Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site operations on new builds, supervise staff and volunteers, and ensure work meets safety, quality, and organizational standards. The role requires hands-on leadership at subdivision, infill, and remote sites.

The schedule is full-time, non-exempt with 7:30am–4:00pm EST hours, occasional Saturdays. Compensation is $25 per hour.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of field supervision experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel; experienced with Builder Trend.
Ability to read and interpret plans, scopes of work, and building codes.
Valid driver’s license with 3+ years driving experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day job site operations at subdivision, infill, and remote locations.
Supervise Associates, Apprentices, Crew Chiefs, general volunteers, and homebuyers.
Ensure adherence to established construction schedules and use Builder Trend to monitor progress.
Coordinate material deliveries and verify alignment with purchase orders; address discrepancies.
Ensure all safety standards are enforced; maintain daily logs and safety briefings.
Mentor volunteers and homebuyers in construction techniques and safe practices.
