Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Construction Quality Manager II to run the quality control program on large or multi-phase projects under USACE, NAVFAC, or similar quality requirements; oversee field inspectors and technicians reporting to you.

You write the project quality control plan, run the three-phase control meetings, and answer for every test result and nonconformance the project produces.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in construction quality control or special inspection.
• 2+ years supervising inspectors.
• USACE CQM-C certificate plus ICC special inspector or NICET Level III certification.
• Experience on USACE, NAVFAC, DOT, or industrial owner quality programs.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain the project quality control plan and get it accepted by the owner or agency.
• Lead preparatory, initial, and follow-up phase meetings for every definable feature of work.
• Supervise QC inspectors and testing technicians; assign daily coverage and review their reports.
• Run the nonconformance and corrective-action process and present it in owner QA/QC meetings.
• Coordinate laboratory testing, mix design approvals, and material certifications across subcontractors.
