Job summary

Walsh Group in Havelock, NC is seeking a Project Manager for a Federal Building project. You will provide leadership across costs, planning, scheduling, engineering and personnel management to deliver a high-value construction program.

You will build and maintain client relationships, oversee startup through close-out, and ensure safety and quality plans are followed. The role requires 7+ years of experience and a preferred Bachelor’s degree, with relocation possibilities for certain assignments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction project management experience.
• Experience in managing construction teams.
• Proven success in client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for costs, planning, scheduling, engineering, supervision and personnel management.
• Lead project startup, completion, and close-out processes.
• Develop strategy for personnel development and recruiting.
• Manage contractual issues.
• Establish and maintain customer relationships.
• Forecast costs for job completion.
• Lead and develop the project team.
• Make final decisions on problem resolution.
• Develop Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans.
• Identify issues to Program Manager to ensure project success.
• Review and approve preliminary schedules, financial projections, and cost to complete.
• Ensure construction site rules and procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with Safety Manager to meet safety goals.
