Job summary

The Walsh Group – Walsh Construction & Archer Western is seeking a Project Engineer for our Federal Building project in Havelock, NC. You will support the project team with document control, procurement, quality checks and coordination of subcontractors to keep field activities on schedule.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of experience, a bachelor’s degree (preferred), and a willingness to relocate if required. Salary range is $75,000 to $105,000 per year with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of construction experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior internship or co-op experience is a plus.
• Some roles may require relocation.
• Salary range: $75,000 - $105,000 annually.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.).
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks.
• Coordination of subcontractors.
• Survey and project layout.
• Weekly pictures for progress reports.
• Manage construction equipment.
• Safety management.
• Project estimating.
