Job summary

F.H. Paschen seeks a Project Manager for the Lafayette, Indiana Building Group to lead the project team on diverse private and public projects, employing lump sum, negotiated, and design-build methods.

You will supervise the project team, manage contracts and costs, coordinate with superintendents, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. A BS in CM/Engineering and 5+ years’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience managing construction projects.
• Experience with Job Order Contract projects is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and personnel simultaneously.
• Knowledge of cost reporting, cash flow management, and design/build delivery methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage the construction contracts and/or work orders.
• Supervise the project team assigned to contracts/work orders.
• Collaborate with other Project Managers and Superintendents.
• Monitor Superintendent performance and ensure safety and quality.
• Create and manage proposals; negotiate changes with owners.
• Develop and maintain project cost reports; document changes with subcontractors and owners.
• Ensure compliance with MBE/WBE and EEO/Affirmative action requirements.
