Job summary

Independence Construction seeks a Project Manager to lead multiple Northeast Ohio construction projects from initiation through close-out, coordinating with project executives and clients to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering and 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience, with strong budgeting, scheduling, and communication skills. Travel within a 2-hour radius may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels, both internally and externally.
• Knowledge of budgeting and expense control.
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to write reports and business correspondence.
• Able to organize work and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of all different construction delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple construction projects from start to finish and represent Independence Construction to the client.
• Prepare and review project schedules and cash flow projections.
• Develop Site Specific Safety Plans with the Project Team and coordinate with Safety personnel.
• Initiate and award subcontracts during pre-construction and manage change orders.
• Develop and monitor project budgets and provide monthly Job Cost reports.
