Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in the construction industry.
• Proven experience in design-build construction.
• Previous experience leading K-12, higher education, and/or public-sector projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Familiar with budgeting, scheduling, and documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent time and project management skills.
• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.
• Managing large scale K-12 and higher education construction projects.
• Utilizing industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
• Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors.
• Meeting budgetary objectives and making adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Ensuring all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local and state regulations are met.
• Conducting site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.
• Developing and managing detailed project schedules and work plans.
• Providing project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
