Job summary

Place Services, Inc. in Woodstock, GA, seeks an experienced Construction Project Manager for its General Contracting Division – Grocery Department to lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex grocery construction projects.

You will coordinate teams, manage budgets, monitor schedules with MS Project, and uphold safety and quality standards while serving as the single point of contact for clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field; 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction
• Proven experience overseeing complex commercial construction projects valued at $1M+
• Experience in estimating/quantity take-off is highly desirable
• Experience in all scopes of work on a commercial construction project including-MEPs and site work
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Primavera, Procore or other project management software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate appropriately

Responsibilities

• Leads the project team to complete an assigned project on time, on/under budget, to specifications, and with accuracy and efficiency
• Outlines the tasks involved in the project and delegates accordingly
• Evaluates new project estimates and completes buyout of all scopes while managing budgets
• Conducts cost analysis, while managing budget for the project
• Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates
• Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints
• Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk
• Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project from both Internal and External Stakeholders
• Serve as the single POC (point of contact) company, customers, and subcontractor/vendors
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices
• Develop and maintain project schedules utilizing Microsoft Project
• Possess financial acumen to understand revenue recognition, process change orders, and make budget adjustments
• Performs other related duties as assigned
