Job summary

The Lawson Companies, Inc. in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a Project Manager to lead a multi-phase apartment community construction project.

The PM will oversee scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with subcontractors, design partners, and internal teams to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in fast-paced multi-family or commercial construction and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related construction PM certification/degree.
• Minimum 7 years in construction project management.
• Solid scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination and general construction knowledge.
• Ability to read drawings and specifications; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction, oversight, and coordination of construction activities.
• Communicate effectively with Lawson colleagues, design partners and subcontractors.
• Maintain reports ensuring timely, complete, and accurate updates.
