Job summary

Design Hire LLC in Columbus, OH, seeks a hands-on Construction Project Manager to own projects from preconstruction through closeout, partnering with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field leadership.

You will lead scheduling, procurement, budgeting, risk management, and reporting, guiding teams to meet goals while upholding safety, quality, and client relationships. This role requires 4–7 years PM experience on commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 4–7 years of construction project management experience on commercial projects.
• Experience with Design-Build, negotiated, or CM delivery methods.
• Strong knowledge of project documentation, contracts, and delivery.
• Willingness to travel to Columbus-area project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through preconstruction and closeout with clear execution plans.
• Coordinate priorities among owners, architects, engineers, subs, and vendors.
• Develop and manage schedules, procurement, and long‑lead material tracking.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, billing, and monthly reporting.
• Administer change orders, RFIs, submittals, drawings, and contracts.
