Job summary

Peak Utility Infrastructure is seeking a Construction Manager to lead safe, efficient, and profitable construction activities supporting gas transmission projects. You will coordinate field teams, labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors while ensuring compliance with contract requirements and customer expectations.

Responsibilities include managing schedules and budgets, maintaining customer relationships, and driving safety, quality, and productivity across project sites.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or related field preferred.
  • Eight or more years of progressively responsible construction or project-management experience preferred.
  • Experience managing utility or telecommunications construction projects strongly preferred.
  • Ability to travel to project locations and customer meetings as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of construction activities from mobilization through completion and closeout.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Manage project schedules, labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractors to meet commitments.
  • Monitor financial performance including budgets, labor, equipment costs, productivity, and profitability.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and timely reporting.
  • Conduct regular field visits to evaluate safety, quality, productivity, and progress.
  • Identify risks and implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
  • Ensure project documentation, reports, and closeout materials are accurate and timely.
  • Lead, develop, and hold accountable project supervisors, field employees, subcontractors, and support personnel.
  • Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition for staffing and retention.
