Job summary

Hakes Brothers is seeking a Construction Manager in Basehor, KS to oversee all construction activities from the New Home through warranty. You will ensure safety, schedule adherence, trade coordination, and a high-quality customer experience.

This role requires at least two years of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, strong leadership, and meticulous attention to detail. You will be on-site daily, report progress, and maintain clean, organized job sites.

Qualifications

• Requires leadership and communication skills for coordinating multiple trades.
• Two years of relevant construction experience required.
• Must own or have access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all construction activities through to the New Home (NHO).
• Update the Construction Schedule daily and schedule all trade contractors.
• Perform Pre-Construction (PCO), Pre-Slab Inspection (PSI), Pre-Drywall Inspection (PDI), Pre-Drywall (PDO), QA Inspection (QAI), and follow up on closing day.
• Conduct 30-day post-closing follow up and address first 30 days warranty items.
• Respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Ensure dates are met per calendar and Construction Tracker; communicate with buyers.
