GTG Builders in Central New Jersey is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead custom residential projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure schedules and top-quality results.

You thrive on organization, proactive planning, problem-solving, and delivering exceptional homes on time; you will manage field operations, documentation, and client communications while maintaining high craftsmanship standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing residential construction projects, preferably custom homes.
• Strong understanding of residential construction methods, sequencing, and plan interpretation.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills for multiple projects.
• Professional communication with clients, subcontractors, architects, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of custom residential projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Coordinate clients, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and leadership to keep schedules and quality on track.
• Maintain organized, safe, and well-managed jobsites while protecting client investments.
• Document project decisions and communications; keep JobTread schedules and logs up to date.
• Coordinate inspections, punch lists, and warranty transition to ensure smooth closeouts.
