Allensworth, a busy and growing commercial construction law firm, seeks a full-time Lead Construction Litigation Attorney in its downtown Austin office. The lead attorney will manage a large docket of construction disputes for owners, design professionals, and contractors, guiding litigation strategy and client communications.

The role requires 4–6 years of litigation experience and Texas licensure preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires strong academic credentials and top-notch legal research and persuasive writing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, client-facing as well as internal.
• Demonstrates leadership and proactive case management across disputes.

Responsibilities

• Manage a large construction and design dispute docket for owners, design professionals, or contractors.
• Craft litigation strategy, supervise budgets, and delegate work to associates and paralegals.
• Serve in first-chair capacity on client interactions, motions, hearings, and strategy coordination.
