Job summary

BCL Legal is working with a well-established US law firm to recruit a Construction/Business Litigation Associate for its Austin office. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of litigation experience, with a background in construction law and/or business litigation, and possess strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills.

The role offers exposure to major trials, arbitrations and large-scale projects, with opportunity for significant client exposure and travel.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of litigation experience
• Experience in construction law and/or business litigation
• Strong legal research, drafting and analytical skills
• Experience drafting and reviewing pleadings, discovery and briefs
• An ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build client relationships
• Excellent academic credentials

Responsibilities

• Work on construction and design disputes, including large-scale projects
• Prepare for significant trials, arbitrations and hearings
• Collaborate with national and international clients and teams
• Travel as required to support matters
