Job summary

Allensworth is a growing commercial construction law firm in downtown Austin seeking a full-time Legal Assistant to support attorneys, paralegals, and staff. You will manage client files, draft letters, handle filings, and coordinate travel and meetings with a professional, detail-driven approach.

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and capable of independent decision-making in a fast-paced law firm environment.

Qualifications

• B.A. preferred or equivalent experience; litigation experience preferred.
• Excellent writing, communication, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Polished demeanor and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Open new client files and maintain client files with electronic filing.
• Prepare conflict waivers and client engagement letters from templates.
• Process outgoing mail and file documents; locate files as requested by attorneys.
• Book travel for attorneys and arrange meetings; set up conference calls.
• Assist attorneys with CLE registrations and reporting; perform overflow research.
