Job summary

Centuri in Virginia is seeking a Construction Crew Supervisor (General Foreman) to provide strategic leadership and direct field operations across Newport News, Chesapeake, Hampton, and Yorktown. You will champion safety, quality, and productivity while guiding multiple crews to meet project goals with our Culture of Personal Responsibility.

You will develop crews, coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials, monitor progress, and report production updates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• CDL A required or obtainable within 6 months.
• OSHA 10/30 completion and OSHA Competent Person certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute project work across assigned areas.
• Lead and oversee multiple crews to meet safety, quality, productivity, and schedule targets.
• Drive field operations by coordinating manpower, equipment, materials, and priorities.
• Serve as the primary field leader; ensure accountability and responsibility culture.
• Monitor progress and provide timely updates on production, challenges, and resource needs.
• Maintain crew and project documentation for reporting and tracking.
• Recruit, interview, and support hiring of qualified crew members as needed.
