Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a senior professional in cost estimation and project controls to lead development of estimates, budgets, and cost management across complex construction projects in Fontana, CA.

The role requires extensive experience in cost estimation, construction management, and leadership, with focus on strategic guidance, process improvement, and collaboration with capital project teams and senior management. Office-based, onsite in Fontana.

Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of experience with contractors.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in cost estimating or a directly related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Bachelor's degree + six (6) years in construction management or related field OR nine (9) years in construction management with related software/procurement knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance for cost estimation and budgeting across projects.
• Lead, manage, and develop a team to deliver cost controls and project support.
• Coordinate with capital project teams and senior management on cost performance.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and procedures in construction projects.
• Develop and implement training plans and knowledge management practices.
