Job summary

Dyno Nobel, Inc. is seeking a Construction Blaster to safely design, layout, and lead blasting crews on on-site construction projects.

You will act as blaster in charge, coordinate detonation activities, and participate in blast reviews to optimize performance and profitability for Dyno Nobel and customers. The role requires 5+ years in civil/construction blasting, ability to travel extensively, and proficiency with engineered drawings and regulatory permits.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree preferred. 5 years blasting and/or technical experience in lieu of degree, acceptable.
• 5+ years of civil/construction surface blasting.
• Experience with vibration-sensitive blast designs.
• Demonstrated experience in project management.
• Must be willing to travel extensively and work on site jobs 3-4 months at a time.
• Experience in reading engineered drawings.
• ATF, OSHA knowledge with ability to submit blast permits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and design blasts safely for construction projects.
• Coordinate crews and act as blaster in charge.
• Participate in blast review and optimization initiatives.
• Advise stakeholders on product demand projections and schedules.
• Support training on Dyno Nobel products and blast best practices.
• Roll out new technology and support on-site implementations.
