Job summary

Dyno Nobel, Inc. is seeking a Field Consultant to lead direction, coordination, and implementation of blasting products at major customer sites to ensure on-time delivery and performance tracking.

You will train customer blasting personnel, manage project expenses, and uphold Zero Harm safety standards across operations. The ideal candidate holds a four-year degree in mining or geotechnical engineering, MSHA Part 46/48 certification, and relevant experience in mining and explosives.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Mining, Geo-technical or related fields; advanced degrees valued.
• MSHA Part 46/48 certification required.
• ATF background check clearance required for explosives handling.
• Experience in mining and explosives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead direction, coordination, and implementation of products at customer sites to meet milestones.
• Provide on-the-job training for customer blasting personnel.
• Manage project expenses and contribute to budgeted profitability.
• Ensure safety compliance with company HSE standards and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct pre-blast surveys, blast performance measurements, and post-blast assessments.
• Communicate effectively with DynoConsult engineers and personnel.
• Support product management in key application and technology initiatives.

Education

Four-year degree in Mining, Geo-technical, Mineral, and/or Geological Engineering, Civil Engineering

Advanced Degree in Geo-technical, Civil Engineering, Computer Sciences, etc., or equivalent time/experience

Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure customer environment

Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player

Current MSHA certification for Part 46 and 48

Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives

Demonstrated industry experience in mining and explosives
