Job summary

DZYNE Technologies in Irvine, CA is seeking a Configuration Manager to own CM strategy across design, production, and field operations for unmanned systems. You will establish baselines, govern change control, and ensure traceability between engineering, manufacturing, and deployed assets.

The role requires 5+ years of CM experience in complex hardware-software systems, leadership of cross-functional teams, and familiarity with PLM/PDM and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of configuration management for productionized electromechanical systems.
• Experience owning CM in complex hardware and software systems.
• Strong CM knowledge: baselines, identification, control, audits.
• Experience leading Engineering Change processes and CCBs.
• Experience with PLM/PDM and release-to-production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and maintain CM processes and procedures across the company.
• Establish and manage baselines for hardware, software, firmware, and docs.
• Lead the Configuration Control Board (CCB) and track changes.
• Oversee ECR/ECN processes and cross-functional alignment.
• Ensure end-to-end traceability from design to field deployment.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Ops.
• Own configuration audits and compliance readiness.
• Select and improve CM tools and workflows (PLM, PDM, document control).
• Mentor Configuration Analysts and Document Control staff.
• Support regulatory, customer, and internal requirements for CM.
