Job summary

Leidos Defense Sector seeks a highly skilled configuration management and data management expert to join our multi-disciplinary engineering organization in San Diego. You will drive CM/DM processes across the program, incorporating customer requirements and industry best practices.

As a Principal contributor, you will provide direction across IPTs and guide engineering teams through hardware lifecycles, ensuring data integrity and end-to-end data flow for DoD initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 12–15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10–13 years of prior relevant experience.
• Strong content knowledge in Configuration Management & Data Management processes and procedures.
• Knowledge of querying and automated processes to extract, model, integrate, and evaluate complex datasets and business problems for practical application.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• U.S. Citizenship is strictly required. Candidate must possess and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.
• Ability to travel 25% or more.

Responsibilities

• The Configuration Management & Data Management (CM&D M) Lead will develop the program’s configuration management and data management process, including customer requirements, corporate governance, industry standards, and best practices.
• The CM&DM Lead will implement the process and procedures in a classified environment, developing their team and ensuring that all program team members are appropriately trained.
• Develop presentations for leadership to share findings and assist in making actionable recommendations.
• Perform and support data management tasks that deliver a complete view of design and development data.
• Create a fluid, end-to-end vision for how data will flow
• Identify and evaluate current data management technologies
• Maintain a corporate repository of all data management-related artifacts and procedures
• Implement measures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility
• Ensure data integrity is maintained by completing routine data quality analysis.
