Job summary

Leidos Defense seeks a principal CM/DM expert to lead configuration and data management across DoD programs. You will shape processes, train teams in a classified environment, and guide IPTs through hardware lifecycles with a data-centric approach.

Responsibilities include developing CM/DM procedures, delivering actionable leadership presentations, and ensuring data integrity and accessibility across design, development, and deployment stages.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 12–15 years of relevant experience or Master’s with 10–13 years of relevant experience.
• Strong CM/DM process knowledge and procedures.
• Experience querying and automating data processes to extract, model, integrate, and evaluate complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Develop CM/DM processes for the program and ensure alignment with customer requirements and standards.
• Implement CM/DM procedures in a classified environment and train the team.
• Create leadership presentations to share findings and actionable recommendations.
• Perform data management tasks to deliver a complete view of design data and development data.
• Create a vision for end-to-end data flow across the program.
• Identify and evaluate current data management technologies.
• Maintain a corporate repository of data management artifacts and procedures.
• Implement measures to ensure data accuracy and accessibility.
• Ensure data integrity through routine quality analyses.
