Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Concrete Superintendent for the Arizona Division in the Phoenix metro area. You will oversee concrete structures on water/wastewater projects, coordinate crews, and ensure safety and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in concrete construction and familiarity with water-bearing structures, with strong scheduling and cost review skills. This is a full-time on-site position offering growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience constructing concrete structures and water bearing structures on water/wastewater projects.
• Ability to navigate a computer and respond timely to e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Review and comprehend blueprint drawings and specifications.
• Lay out large and small concrete structures.
• Build water bearing structures.
• Coordinate project schedules, site logistics, and manpower.
• Manage crews of 3–20 people.
• Develop and train Foremen and Superintendents.
• Coordinate pay request process.
• Monitor project costs and job cost reports.
• Assist with safety on-site and paperwork.
• Review and help order materials and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
